Ruby Falls...not the best picture :(
worlds tallest and deepest underground waterfall
One day me and Jason hopped in Kevin's car and hit the road. We took the Natchez Trace Parkway into Alabama. We traveled approx. 120 miles on a winding, tree lined road. The entire parkway is 444 miles, cuts across the corner of Alabama and ends in Mississippi, but of course we didn't make it that far.
We stopped in Leipers Fork near the beginning of the parkway at this old gas station to fill up on gas, drinks, moon pies and even found some of those old chalk cigarette candies that we use to have as kids and of course we had to buy a couple boxes.

Hey it's grandma!! What's she doing in Alabama?

Oh wait....that's not her!

Great pictures Rachel, we are sooooo jealous! I noticed your eyes look a little glazed outside the JD distillery :)
